Webinar Series | “Bridging the Gap: Academics and Practitioners in Sustainable Finance” (5/5)
The aim of this webinar series is to build a bridge between academic research and practitioners in the field of sustainable finance. The idea is that a researcher presents findings from sustainable finance studies, which are then discussed by practitioners, particularly with regard to their practical application.
The webinar series is exclusively designed for employees of member institutions. Participation is free of charge.
Content
This webinar provides insights into the latest research on the financial materiality of nature risks. The focus will be on why and how nature-related transition and physical risks can be financially material to companies. Further points of discussion with Zacharias Sautner, SFI Professor of Sustainable Finance at University of Zurich, will be how to measure firm-level exposure to such risks, and whether such exposures are priced by investors in financial markets.
Note
The dial-in details for the MS Teams webinar will be provided to you in due course prior to the webinar.
The webinar will be held in English.
