Swiss Banking Academy Seminar | Berne Financial Services Agreement (BFSA)

The Berne Financial Services Agreement (BFSA), which was signed by Switzerland and the UK in December 2023, is expected to come into force on January 1, 2026. To ensure a smooth implementation of the agreement, we will provide a detailed explanation of how the BFSA will be applied.

The focus of this webinar will be on the provision of cross-border investment services from Switzerland to the UK. Government and regulatory representatives from Switzerland and the UK, as well as experts from UBS and HSBC, will discuss the scope, benefits and challenges of the BFSA. They will also explain how the BFSA can be used and what steps need to be taken.

Finally, our BFSA experts will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the implementation of the agreement.

Costs
Participation is CHF 75.00 for employees of SBA & TheCityUK member institutions. For non-members, the participation fee is CHF 150.00. This will be invoiced following the event.
